March 16, 2020

Our priority has always been to deliver the very best possible service to our clients. To do that in the current environment, we are taking every precaution possible to protect the health and safety of our team and their families.

Therefore, as with many local businesses, at of the end of business today our entire firm will be working remotely, and our office will be closed. We will accept drop-offs of any tax paperwork you wish to hand deliver on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays between the hours of 10am-2pm. Our secure portal delivery system is available 24/7. If you would like to use this as your delivery method and you don’t yet have a portal, they are free, easy to use, and fast for us to set up. Call or email anyone here (including and we will get one created for you.

Our plan is to work remotely beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, March 17 through and including Monday, March 30. We will be monitoring the situation closely to determine if an extension of these arrangements becomes necessary.

The good news is that we have the technological capability to work remotely. During this period, we will still be available to you (albeit for some of you in new ways, and with more e-technology than ever before). Your emails and phone calls will be returned as quickly as possible. We are also watching for updates and changes coming from Hartford and Washington, DC with respect to filing deadlines and tax payment due dates. As we get updated information, we will let you know.

This extraordinary step is necessary to preserve the health of our team and help curtail the spread of the virus. It is a decision that we have not taken lightly, and believe it is the most responsible course of action for us at this time.

On behalf of the entire MCO team, I want to thank you for your understanding and support. We wish you, your families and your organizations safety and above all good health.

Camille Murphy & the MCO Team
